Chicken/Turkey Chili

4 Cups of Dry Beans (I use Pinto and Black Beans) or you can use 5 to 6 canned beans
5-6 Turkey breast or Chicken Breast
4-5 Bay leaves
1/2 tbsp Garlic Salt or 5 or 6 Garlic Cloves
1 tbsp Chili Powder
1/2 tbsp Paprika
1/2 tsp Thyme
1/2 tsp Cumin
4 Cans Diced Tomatoes
1 Large Onion diced
salt and Pepper to taste
Hot Sauce to taste

Soak beans over night. Add all ingredients (except Chicken) to the beans in crock pot and cook 6 to 8 hours or until Black Beans are done.

Boil chicken (whole or cut up) with some garlic and ginger, when Chicken is cooked, chop or shred and add to Beans at last couple hours of cooking time.
Before serving if its to watery take a whole potato and dice it up and blend it up with half a cup of milk and pour into Chili to thicken it a little.

We top ours with cheese and eat it with Scoops.
Enjoy
